A Jamshedpur girl has got a perfect score in Management Aptitude Test (MAT), this year. Shalu Munka, a 21-year old student of Birla Institute of Technology in Lalpur has scored perfect 800 in MAT.
Munka is based in Jamshedpur where her father runs a business and her mother is a homemaker. She has dedicated her result to her parents and teachers, and gave a special mention to her mentor, who is the Director of Right Step management coaching institute. Her mentor, Gopalji also expressed his happiness and said that he was happy that his approach towards teaching has been validated by the performance of his student. Interestingly, Gopalji too had scored 800 in MAT-2011.
MAT is a national level online exam conducted four times a year by All India Management Association (AIMA) for students seeking admissions in top MBA colleges of the country. Last year, in February, a Chandigarh boy had scored perfect 800 in MAT. Son of a sub-inspector of Chandigarh Police, Ashish has worked in several firms since 2009. Ashish's family belongs to Kangra in Himachal Pradesh.
