Google CEO Sundar Pichai to train 2 million android developers in the near future

google Google is opening its door to double recruitment exclusively in India. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who is on his maiden visit to India after taking over as the CEO of Google, has said that the company is expanding its headcount in India, especially in engineering operations. He also announced a huge campus in the tech-savvy city Hyderabad.

"Google is looking at hiring people for Bangalore and Hyderabad... We will also build huge new campus in Hyderabad to build capabilities," he said.
According to reports, he said, "We will ramp up our engineering investments at our Bangalore and Hyderabad facilities." However, Pichai did not disclose the amount of investment for the new campus project.

Moreover, Pichai also announced a programme to train two million android developers. Google has set a timeline of three years in which it will work with around 30 universities to give boost to android technology.

The company has already made three giant offers to engineering students. The highest offer of Rs 2 crore was given to Abishek Pant, a student of Computer Science programme at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Two other offers of Rs 1.8 crore and 1.27 crore was given to Ashutosh Agarwal from IIT Patna and Chetan Kakkar from Delhi Technical University respectively.

During his two-day visit, Pichai will meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will also address students at a Delhi University college
