CBSE Announced the Results of program on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

cbseThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result of expression series programme on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel held on October 31. The students can check the result on the official website, the link for which is www.cbseacademic.in.

According to the circular best 36 entries from each category have been selected by CBSE and will be given a prize of Rs 2,500 and each student will get merit and participation certificate. There were three categories in the competition: Class 1 to 5 and the topic for them was 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel: the Iron Man'; for Class 6 to 8 students, the topic was 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's role in Indian freedom struggle', and for students of Class 9 and 10, the topic was 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel: the architect of united India'. The students submitted essays, poems, or drawings.

Taking forward the series programme, the CBSE had decided to remember the contribution of Sardar Patel for his contributions as a leader who unified the whole country. "The history of India would have been different had Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel not been the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister when India became independent in 1947. Sardar Patel consolidated the country into one united whole in a unique manner. On his birth anniversary, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces CBSE Expression Series on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31 October 2015. ," the circular issued by D T Sudharsan Rao, CBSE joint secretary and in-charge (academic and training) said.

Earlier, the CBSE had announced expression series on Jai Prakash Narayan and former President A.P.J Abdul Kalam on their birth anniversary.
