The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the result of the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 on August 16.
Vipul Garg of Haryana, achieved the top position in the AIPMT exam result with 695 marks out of 720. Khushi Tiwari achieved second position in AIPMT with 688 marks. A wait list of four times the seats has also been prepared and provided to the Directorate General of Health Services for the purpose of counseling. According to that, a total of 18,610 aspirants are eligible for the merit and wait list.
The aspirants belonging to the State of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Andaman & Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh,Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Delhi, Orissa, Chandigarh and Rajasthan will also have an additional quota of 15 percent. The aspirants will be granted admissions in Pune, AFMC, Banaras, Jamia Hamdard University and Hindu University.
This AIPMT exam was conducted in 50 cities at 1065 centres. A total number of 3,74,386 aspirants appeared in the AIPMT Exam out of which, 1,80,957 were boys and 1,93,429 were girls. The students, on the day of the exam, had undergone strict checking measures before the exam started. The officers were instructed to check the ears of all the aspirants with the help of torchlight and communications jammers were also installed at the centres to check no communication device will be used inside the centre.
