The Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE is all set to announce the AIPMT results (All India Pre Medical/ Pre- Dental Entrance Test) on August 17. Dr Arvind Goyal, a Chandigarh-based AIPMT tutor had filed a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) requesting answer-keys for AIPMT results.
The AIPMT candidates, as a result, can now access to the scanned images of their OMR sheets and answer-keys by logging in using their Registration-ID. The OMR sheets will be available to the candidates from August 10 at 10 am in the morning to August 11 till 12 midnight. The answer-keys can be checked from August 12 at 10 am to August 13 till 12 midnight.
According to CBSE, A student has to deposit an amount of Rs 1000 if they raise an objection and that the amount has to be refunded if a candidate's objection is/are accepted.
Arvind Goyal, who had filed the RTI asking the total amount of fee received by the CBSE from students for filing objections and the number of objections received for various questions in AIPMT says, "It is impossible that the CBSE does not have any count of all the objections has been filed so far. An exam that has been appeared by nearly 6 lakh candidates for it, is an issue of public interest and cannot be denied."
