Andhra Pradesh government has announced that, Japanese language courses will be introduced in three major universities in the state. This decision of Japanese language courses has came as a result of Japan government agencies and private companies showing interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh.
The three major universities, Andhra University Visakhapatnam , Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur and Sri Venkateswara University Tirupati will have Japanese language courses, which will help them to increase their opportunities to work in Japanese industries.
"Introducing Japanese language courses will increase job opportunities to students, since Japanese investors are showing interest in Amaravati (upcoming capital of andhra pradesh) construction as well as investing in manufacturing and infrastructure," said Parakala Prabhakar, advisor (Communications) Andhra Pradesh government.
The Andhrapradesh government has taken continuous efforts to make this improvement as the Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had visited Japan two times since he came to the position one year ago, in order to get Japan's cooperation in developing infrastructure of Andhra pradesh and the proposed capital city Amaravati.
A special department with a person fluent in Japanese language is appointed by the State Government. Japanese agencies like JBIC and JICA also have expressed interest to buy equal share in the company proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government to supervise the construction of its proposed capital which has been named as Amaravati.
