A P J Abdul Kalam's Life will be taught in School Syllabus

Former President APJ Abdul Kalam, the 'Missile Man', passed away on July 27, after he collapsed of breathing problem during a lecture at IIM Shillong. APJ Abdul Kalam, also known as 'The People President' left India in tears.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on tuesday, said, "A lesson about the life of late former President A P J Abdul Kalam should be taught in schools across Madhya Pradesh in order to make students ideal citizens in future." He also said that teaching children about Kalam's life will be motivation for them in achieving their goal and make them ideal citizens. He also said that Kalam's death created void and ti is an irreparable loss that can't be filled by any one.

APJ Abdul Kalam has proved from his life that a person from a modest family background can make it to the highest position by talent and hard work. Quoting Kalam as a "visionary", the CM said the former not only dreamt of making India a developed country by 2020, but also provided a stable vision and guidelines for the country.

The state already has declared a seven-day mourning after Kalam's death in Shillong. As per the order from government, the Tricolour is flying half mast in all the government buildings.

It seems that Dr APJ Abdul Kalam had already planned a surprise assignment for the students of IIM-Shillong on finding the ways to stop disruptions in Parliament.

Kalam's close aide and friend Srijan Pal Singh, who was with him on his last moments in shillong, told that while travelling from Delhi to Shillong they were discussing about disruptions in Parliament.

Singh, who co-authored two books with APJ Abdul Kalam, told from Shillong that "He was very worried and said he had seen the tenures of many governments but disruption keeps on happening every time. He had told me to prepare a surprise assignment question for the students which would be given to them at the end of the lecture,"
