The admit cards for the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) re-examination have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The exam will be held on July 25 from 10 am to 1 pm.
The candidates appearing for the re-exam can now download the admit cards from the official website and complete the following formalities alongside: The admit card should be attached with a photograph attested from the Gazetted Officer/Head of Institution before the day of the examination. No photographs will be clicked on the final day. The proforma that is attached with the application form should also be affixed with a photograph. The exam room invigilator will be collecting the proforma.
The candidates should be required to attach a photograph with the attendance sheet
The candidates who will appear for the AIPMT will be receiving details such as centre of examination and roll numbers through E-mail and SMS service. The admit cards they'll receive will be having the detailed lists of the dos and donts. The new admit cards that will be issued will also have the photograph of the candidate in a different place than the previous one, to make sure that the old admit cards are not re-used.
The candidates for AIPMT, on the day of the exam, will have to undergo strict security checking measures before the exam starts. A written letter has been sent to the Home Ministry by the Central Board of Secondary Education seeking paramilitary forces at the test centres to ensure tight security. The local police has also been deployed to maintain decorum.
The declaration of results of the AIPMT was scheduled to be on June 5 but was marred by a paper-leak where as many as 700 students received answer keys through mobile phones during the exam held on May 3. The results of the AIPMT examination will be declared by August 17.
