Online registration versus Offline registration for Delhi University admission process:
• Convenience: According to an exclusive interview with India Today, many students reported, "Offline admission process is comparatively convenient than online process since there are people to help us. It was difficult to go about things on the internet as we couldn't go about the process".
• Technical glitches: Many candidates faced technical glitches while registering online and therefore, had no option but to submit the forms offline. The candidates reported that many a times the website crashed and that made them insecure.
• Fault in the forms: Most of the North-Eastern students have a 12 digit roll no. whereas, the forms have space for 11 digits. Dushynt Sejwal, a student volunteer of NSUI said, "Many students are facing problems during registration since there are not enough blocks on the offline registrations forms as there is space for 11 digits. We try to make each student aware of this glitch and ask them to make an extra block themselves"
• Time-consuming: The offline application process is very time consuming.
Most students come from all parts of the country to fill the forms. The last date to register for the Delhi University admission process is June 15. While, the cut-off will be announced by June 25.
