Girls once again had a better pass out percentage than the counterpart boys in the class XII semester IV results declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education board here on Thursday.
The overall pass out percentage was 86.10 per cent. The Girls had a slightly better success rate with 86.76 per cent, while that of the boys was 85.75 per cent. While the highest pass out were reported from a centre in Gondal with 99.73 per cent, the lowest was from Chotta Udepur was 21.99 per cent. According to Board officials over 215 schools had 100 per cent results, while only nine schools had a pass out percentage below 10 per cent.
However, of the nearly 1.28 lakh students only 427 secured over 90 per cent, while another 4008 students secured over 80 per cent marks. The pass out percentage of students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics was 89.94 per cent, while that of B group students (physics, Chemistry and Biology) is 80.96 per cent.
