The higher education department said today it would implement the EduGrid project of IT&C department in all state universities taking forward Andhra Pradesh government's digital literacy programme. This step would enable students to access data on their attendance, grading profile and assignments, among others, through university website.
This project would be linked up with local industry for employability programmes and also with academic institutes for delivering massive online open courses (MOOCs), an official statement said.
The universities that are expected to lead the project over the next three months in the first phase are - Andhra University, JNTU, Kakinada, JNTU, Ananthpur, Sri Venkateswara University and Nagarjuna University and RGUKT (Nuzvidu and Idupulapaya), it said.
