Girls Top in Tamil Nadu HSC Results

The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (TN SBSE) results have been announced on May 7. Directorate of Government Examination declared the results. The first rank in the state examination is shared by two school students from Chennai.
The two girls have scored the same marks in their Class 12 Boards. They have achieved a score of 1194 marks out of 1200. S. Mahalakshmi of DAV Higher Secondary School and Sresha C.S. of Velammal Matric Higher Secondary School, Mogappair East have shared the top rank. S.Mahalakshmi had Sanskrit as her second language, while Sresha had chosen for French.

Two students have achieved second rank. Again, the second spot is shared by two girls. Preethi S. of Cluny Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Salem and Parvathy S. from Jeevana Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Madurai, both have scored 1193 marks out of 1200.The top three ranks are rounded off by Pavithra J of Vikas Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Tiruppur.She has scored 1192 marks out of 1200 and is ranked third in the state Class 12 Board examination.The results for all three streams, Science, Commerce and Vocational, has been announced simultaneously.

The results are available at the official site of the board, www.tnresults.nic.in.Total of nine lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board exams this year.The students who wish to apply for re-totalling or want copies of their answer sheets can apply through their schools. The private candidates can apply through their respective centres.
