The Central Government of India said on Monday, that new procedures and guidelines would be framed for giving permission to status for Deemed Universities.
Tushar Mehta, the Additional Solicitor General who is appearing for the centre framed that they would not go for graduation and there should be objections to have uniformly.

All India council for Technical Education, (AICTE)
University Grants Commission (UGC)
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and
National Board of Accreditation to bring forth a fresh guide lines with in a period of 3 months.
According to Maninder Singh, the Additional Solicitor General representing UGC told out of 41 Deemed Universities 8 had been inspected. 7 Deemed Universities are given one year time to rectify deficiencies. Out of this one had been cared. The remaining 33 would be inspected once in 5 years as per UGC guidelines.
Advocate Viplau Sharma filed a petition and based on this, the Centre appointed the Tandon Committee. Tanton Committee classified the 122 Deemed Universities in 3 types and sought to de-recognize 44 stating that they do not have adequate infrastructure.
