The new Government led by Bharatiya Janata party is serious about change in the existing Education system. These are the talk of the days to bring a broad on National Policy in Education which is depend as holistic Education Methods.
It is reported by Smriti Irani, the Minister for Human Resource Development that the Government will bring this new Education policy next year to replace the present and 48 year old policy. In this regards, RSS, the principle mentor of BJP prepare to offer helps to frame the National policy in Education.
Bhartiya Shiksha Mandal (BSM) is an Education affiliated body RSS already prepared a National Policy in Education. The draft of BSM claims, that the proposed charge will give a complete Indian colour to the Education system. It is proposed to change 10 +2+3 pattern which we follow as 8+4+3 pattern.
Besides changes in the existing system, many key modifications are also expected to occur due to this National policy.
1. There would be compulsory learning till VII in one mother tongue, while taking up a classical language like Sanskrit, Arabic, Greek, Latin or Hebrew for the next 4 years.
2. Vocational subjects will be mode compulsory by introducing flexible norms to education and this will avoid Entrance Examinations to Engineering and Medical colleges.
What is going on so for?
i) 10 + 2 + 3 system
ii) Formal Education till X
iii) Entrance tests for Engineering and Medical course
iv) 3 years college study in UG
v) 3 language formula Hindi, English, and one more
vi) Students are promoted till VIII without exams
vii) Various Education boards like CBSE, ICSE state Education boards.
Proposed:
i) 8+4+3 education till VIII
ii) No entrance examination
3. Flexibly in college Education
i) 1 year (certificate)
ii) 2 years (diploma)
iii) 3 years (degree)
iv) 4 years (Hon)
4. Only mother tongue till VIII
5. No tests for I, II, orals for III, IV written exams from V practical from VIII internals from IX.
