United India Insurance Company is one of the premier Insurance companies in India, which have been functioning since 1938. It has Head quarters in Chennai and has 1600 branches. Around 18000 employees are working in this organization. It has insurance plans for various transport vehicles from two wheelers to Airplanes. It has around one crore customers as on date.

Recently United India Insurance has published an advertisement seeking eligible candidates for 323 vacancies for the position of Scale I –Administrative Officer in various fields, which include General and finance, law, automobiles, Engineering and technology.

Graduates any discipline can apply for this post. To apply for Technical Administration officers post, the candidates should have passed Engineering graduates in respective branch or Automobile Engineering. The candidates who wish to apply for Law officers should have completed B.L degree and to apply for finance should have completed B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA, ICWAI.

The candidate should be in the age limit between 29 and 30. Relaxation of Age is applicable according to the norms of Central Government of India.

The application fee for General candidates is Rs.500 and for SC, ST & PHD it is Rs.100 which can be paid through net banking or Debit card or Credit card.

The candidates will be selected based on written test and Interview.

The written examination consist of preliminary and Man Examination in on line.

In preliminary Examination the question will be there in English, Mathematics and Reasoning for 100 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. Main Examination consist of Reasoning, English, General Knowledge (Finance related) and Basic Mathematics for 200 percentage. Besides the students have to write the description type test also which consist of Essay in English, précis writing and letter writing.

The preliminary Exam will be in the last week of December and main exam will be in the last week of Jan’2015.
