All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is one of the popular Medical Education Institution in India. More AIIMS institutions are planned to be established in the country by Central Government of India. Tamil Nadu is also in the last of stats to get AIIMS Institution. It is obvious that AIIMS is concentrating Medical courses based on Allopathy which the popular system of Education.

At this context, this is the time, people started thinking about the system of alternate medicine, in particular about Indian system medicine, it is proposed to conduct a four - day world Ayurveda congress in Delhi from November 6 to 9 to popularize Indian system of medicine in foreign countries. Prime minister of India Mr. Narendramodi will inaugurate the conference and delegates and Health Ministers from 24 countries will participate in the conference.

Mr. Narendra Modi, in specific is interested to promote Ayurveda system of medicines. Union Health and family welfare minister. Harsh Vardhan said that the Government will support institutes, to carry out research, create data base and offer Ayurvedic treatment.

The minister said that an All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is coming up in Jasola in Delhi.
