It announced an offer to Engineering Graduates to pursue higher Education in Indian Institute of Technologies and National Institute of Technologies.

ABOUT THE SCHEME:

L & T offers a program to continue higher Education M.Tech (master of Technology) in the branch, Construction and Technology and Management. It proposed to offer full scholarship (free education) besides a stipend of Rs.9000/- per month. Added advantage of this scheme is, the selected candidates will be given job in L & T with an annual salary of Rs.5 lacs.

The candidates who are selected under this scheme, as mandate, should work in L & T nut less than 5 years. They are supposed execute a bond with the company to a tune of Rs.3 lacs.

Eligibility Creteria:

To join M.Tech under this scheme:

1. The candidates must have passed BE / B.Tech in one of the branches of civil, mechanical or electrical with not less than 60% marks in the academic year 2015 (or) they would have obtained the grade of 6.75.

2. They should have obtained not less them 60% marks in X and XII.

3. The candidates should have crossed the age limit of 23 years as on July 1, 2015. They must have a minimum height of 160 cm and a minimum of weight of 50kg.

4. The vision defect of any should be with in the limit of 5 diplomas.

Objective of the scheme:

L&T has introduced this scheme called:

"Build India Scholarship". The object of this scheme is to produce quality civil Engineers and project managers. This is meant for BE/B.Tech students who have cleared GAE.

Selection procedure:

The candidates who are presently studying in the final year BE/B.Tech in the said branches, of interest to joint in M.Tech in IIT's & NIT's; they should appear for.

GATE qualified candidates have to appear the interview. Conducted by L & T in the cities or Delhi, & Chennai IIT's in association with L & T (or) Trichy or Surat conducted by NIT in association with L & T medical examination to the candidates is also a part of selection procedure
