Two months internship by HRD

The Ministry of Human Resources Dept has introduced through its Dept of Higher Education a scheme called, "MHRD Internship scheme - 2014" and this is applicable from 01.10.2014. The scheme is meant for Indian students doing graduate, post graduate and Research courses from any recognized university or Institution in India.

The selected candidates are expected to help with the Governments policy Analysis process. This is an opportunity for the students to get exposed to Govt. policies and contribute might in the process of policy formulation.

It is clear the proposal is neither a job nor an assurance for a job, but an assignment.

Each batch will be taken for a period of 2 months the first batch commences in October 1^st, the second batch in December 1^st, and the third batch in Feb, 1^st.

Right now the opportunities are available in Higher Education of Technical Education in IIT's, IIM's Apex Bodies, R & D, Skill Development, Vocational, Central Universities, Rashtriya Uchchatar Siksta Abhiyan (RUSA) National mission an Education through ICT, Minority Education etc.

Regarding the school Education Dept is concerned, the opportunities are available in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Adult Education & literacy.

A monthly stipend of Rs.10,000 will be given for 2 months. A certificate will be issued on successful completion. The candidates will be provided with office space, intercom telephone, internet and stationery items.

The candidates should bring their own laptops.
