When the Engineering graduates walk-in to any company for job with their lengthy profile. The common question from the Interview Board is "Do you have experience?". How can the companies expect a fresher to have experience. The response from the companies are, how could they take risk by appointing freshers. Now it seems, the infotech companies prepared to accept the profiles of freshers. Today more recruitments are done only by Infotech companies. There are information that they have proposed to recruit 20% more graduates.
In the year 2012, Infotech comapnies took around 2 lac Engineering Graduates, but dropped around one lac sixty thousand candidates. Nasscom estimated an increase of nearly 13% in Campus placements over last year.
It is expected that there may be 10-20%. Income in the salary structure also.
It is regretable, while the companies are in deep search of talented people, still they are reluctant to increase the payment which remarks as it is to a tune of 3.5 lacs per annum.
Even now more placements are done by Software companies which include Amazon, Flipkart, Paypal, Microsoft and Niche services like Musigma and Zone. Getting more graduates, certainly from the states of Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh.
