An article published in the Times of India reflected that one third of the $ 171 billion Apple Company’s engineers are Indians. The writers of the Article Shilpa Phadnis and Sujit John declared that the services and supports of the Indian software Engineers is on Increase. HFS Research based on US declared that the majority of the HIBS would be Indians. This indicates that the ‘I phone’ and ‘I pad’ makers depend mostly on Indians. It is evident that about one third of Apple’s Engineers are Indians and there are either on HIB visas or has the Green card. Apple has 47000 people working directly for the company in US out of which 7700 were customer support operators and 27350 worked retail in Apple stores. Out of this, 12000 are engineers, designers, marketers and others are white collar tech product workers. Mr.Pareekh Jain the principal analysis of HFS Research said that Apple has dedicated IT outsourcing Vendors managers based out of Bangalore who are acting as the bridge between Apple’s IT managers and India based IT vendors. The Indian IT players for application development and maintenance business intelligence and data ware housing, data analytic serves enterprise application integration and ERP implementation.
