Knowledge in local language - preferable to study in Abroad

Generally speaking knowing well vernacular language is essential to study any subjects in any country. Thinking and creativity is possible only through one’s own mother tongue. Execution can be done in any language at our convenience or based on the situation or necessity. This fact was ignored by many students in India, and they are facing the difficulty now. For the sake of convenience and to interact throughout the world, it is better to study in English medium and this concept in no way prevent student from learning his own mother tongue or any other language.

It seems that people who are very good in their own mother tongue are stronger in English. Not knowing mother tongue, does not mean they are good in English.

Now India has the second largest country from where students opting for higher education. The co-founder of overseas Education consultant collegian in Germany says that institutes in Germany, France and Italy are getting professors to teach in English, and they may occasionally speak the local language to make the local students involved.

It is in china, that English in included in higher Educational Institutions and it becomes the national Agenda. The simple reason is china now attracts many medical students from India. Now English Medium schools are encouraged in Beijing, the simple reason is to accommodate Indians who are good and have proficiency in English. Since more Chinese students know English, more English medium courses are coming up in China.

C.B. Paul Chellakumar of Education consultancy campus abroad says that many faculty members in Chinese universities are from English speaking countries.

It is sensed that it is better to know the local language of a country where a student want to do his higher students even if it is not mandatory. The representatives of foreign universities recommend that students better to acquire atleast basic knowledge of local language. This may help them to study in that particular country.
