All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala

Government of Kerala has identified 4 locations for establishing All India Institute of Medical sciences in the state. The list of these locations is sent to union Health Ministry by Chief Minister Oomman chandy. Mr. Chandy told the centres communication asking Kerala state to propose four sites fit for establishing an AIIMS was sent on June 19. The reply should be sent before July 19. The locations identified are open Jail compound, Nettukaltheri, Thiruvanathapuram, land at Kinalur in Kozhicode with Industries Dept, land of Medical college in Kottayam, and HMT land at Kalamassery in Ernakulam.
