B.Ed Counselling organised by Teachers Education University

These are 7 Government colleges for Education, 14 Government Aided colleges for Educations and 650. Private self financed colleges for Educations. The available seats of about 2100 seats in these institutions were filled by single window system by General counseling process. The eligible seats meant for counseling are 100% seats in Government colleges. 50% seats of Government ministry colleges and 90% of other than minority colleges.

The remaining seats are filled by the respective private institutions themselves. This counseling was conducted by Lady Wellington College for Education Development from 2007 to 2013. But no Tamil Nadu Govt has issued order to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University to conduct this process of counseling.
