19000 candidates complete for 11 District Educational Officers post

The preliminary Examination to select the candidates for the post of District Educational Officer in Tamil Nadu held on Sunday between 10 am to 1 pm.

The question paper for this test consists of 200 multiple choice question in General Knowledge and reasoning.

The examination was conducted in 4 places viz Chennai, Madurai, Kovai and Trichy. 19000 candidates appeared in this examination. 550 candidates will be selected from this test in the reasoning.

If more than one candidate secures the same marks then those candidates also will be sent to main examinations.

The main Examination consists of 2 General knowledge papers. Also the examination will be conducted for 3 papers, such that one exam for each subject. Each paper carries 300 marks as whole 900 marks will be allotted for the main Examination. The selected candidates in the exam will be sent to personal interview which carries 120 marks.
