Collector urges banks to sanction education loans quickly

Dharmapuri:  The District collector of Dharmapuri, P. Amutha has asked the bankers to sanction education loans as quick as possible to enable students pursue courses without any delay.
She urged the bankers not to reject education loan applications without valid reasons, at a bankers meet held at the meeting hall of the District Rural Development Agency here recently.

The collector also asked them to process the pending applications from the Self-Help Groups. Farmers who availed crop loans and yet to avail loans can insure their crops under crop insurance scheme, she said.

Bankers were instructed to give loans to the District Industries Centre, Mahalir Thittam, Thadco, Sericulture and other departments quickly.
