Laptops to Students in UP

State Government in India keep announcing and implementing many free schemes frequently. Of course, there are dilemmas and debates whether these free schemes are really necessary or whether they serve the purpose really? But, the important aspect here is, if these are any mechanism to check whether these free things really does its purpose and reach the deserving people.

At this context, the Akilesh Yadav Government has announced free Laptops to the students of XII in 2012. More 61 lacs of students are waiting for this in the period between 2012 and 2014. The state Government has issued Laptop only for 14 lacs students out of 23 lac students of XII in 2012. Infact, CBSE, ICSE students are also waiting for this free Laptops.
