Indian statistical Institute functions under. Statistics Department of Government of India. Offering UG, PG courses with scholarship. Besides. PG courses are also conducted for economics, library sciences and computer science. The Head quarters for ISI is Kolkatta and has campuses at Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai office is functioning at Tharamani.

Kolkatta ISI offers. B.Stat (Honors) B.Maths (Hons) is offered by Bangalore ISI. The students who opt this course receive a monthly stipend of Rs.3000/- Rs.5000 is offered as scholarship for the PG students who are studying in Chennai and Delhi. M.Sc (Maths) students are also receiving Rs.5000/- scholarship.

The XII qualified students are eligible to join in this course and the students should have studied Maths in their curriculum as one of the subjects. The students are selected through the Entrance exam conducted by ISI.

Sc, ST, OBC and Physically challenged students gets than seats according to the reservation policies. The entrance exam will be conducted by May 11.

The applying can be done through online www.isical.ac.in/deaweb from Feb.5 onwards and the last date is March.6.
