Pondy varsity students bag overall championship in meet

Puducherry: A team of students of Department of Management studies (DMS) of the School of Management in Pondicherry University bagged the overall championship trophy in the Management Meet held recently at Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.
 
A Department release said 33 teams from different parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the meet conducted under the banner `FIRMA-09` by the Heber Institute of Management Studies, a constituent of the Bishop Heber College Tiruchirapalli.
 
The team from the DMS of Pondicherry University also won first prizes in Business Quiz, Corporate Role play, Advertising Game ADZAP and was placed second in the
paper presentation competition, the release said.
  
The Director of Social Studies and Culture Dr A Balasubramanian and the Registrar of the University S. Lokanathan felicitated the students on their return to Puducherry.
