National Institute of Open School syllabus in Tamil

The National Institute of open school proposed to get its self learning study material for secondary level in Tamil translation. Mr.P.Ravi the Regional Director of NIOS, Chennai said efforts to get the study material translated in to Tamil was in the final stage. This is an opportunity for the Tamil students who were dropout for various reasons. NIOS provided students the opportunity to complete their schooling in the desired subject in private status.

Chennai did not have regional centre; students from Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry had to go to regional centre in Kochi to write the examination, now a regional centre inaugurated in Lady Wellington campus, Chennai.
