Vacant seats in Tamil Nadu Engineering colleges under Anna University is a hot news from Chennai around 80,000 seats are vacant in over 500 private colleges in this Academic year is the news for worry for educationists. Unemployment for qualified Engineering students and their attempt to job over to not related area is a big question mark.

The top private engineering colleges have decided to reduce about 500 to 900 seats in the correct year. This is in particular for the branches computer science, I.T. mechanical and Bio Technology. The decision of surrounding of over 5000 seats by private colleges will reduce around 5000 seats for Anna University.
