Humanities in Medical curriculum

Dr. V.Shanta, the chairperson for Adyar cancer institute participated in the convocation function of Chettinad University. Dr. V. Shanta is a Award –winning cancer specialist. She insisted that the subject in Humanities must be included in the medical curriculum. This is the fourth convocation of the Chettinad University. She said that the Medical curriculum needs suitable reforms by introducing subjects on. Humanities, communication, skills, behavioral sciences and doctors – patient are relationship. She insisted that the doctors should be the care gives besides a medical person.
