It is a clear U-turn of events, that the students from a private Medical College in the name DD Medical College which was de-recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). In 2012, and barred from admitting the students for MBBS. Only the first batch of the students was allowed to continue their education at the Institution and these students appeared for the examinations under the guidance of the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.
DD Medical college was de-recognised by Medical Council of India in 2012. 149 students of 2010-11 batch placed through counselling.
Under this situation 33 students of 2010-11 batch of DD Medical College in Chennai. The others were allotted seats in 14 government run medical colleges in the state.
To reallocate the seats for 149 students took place on Thurs day at Kilpauk Medical College 13 students got seats at Madras Medical College. 9 Joined at Kilpauk Medical College. It is clear from the reliable sources, the students were allotted in 17 Medical Colleges that existed in 2010. The students were not offered seats in Medical Colleges in Sivaganga and Thiruvannamalai as they did not exist them. At that time MMC admitted 165 students Stanley had 150 students and KMC had 100 students.
The government declared that the government could do nothing for the batches of students who were admitted to the colleges after it had been the recognised by MCI.
