Institute of Charered Accountants - Irregularities?

Central Bureau of Investigation and the chief vigiliance commission was given notice by the Madras High ourt. This was based on a Public Litigataion Case of a proble into alleged irregularities of the Institute. Justice K.K., Sasidharan directed them to file the response.

P.V. Venkata Sivakumar in his PIL demanded a probe by CBI and CVC into the project and irregularities, conspiracy and criminal breach of the trust committed by the president and ICAI office bearers. He alleged that the tune of irregularities is in the 97.5crore. Centre of establishment of excellence at Nagpur.

The judge said that according to the records that the things are not well.
