The highest overall score for JEE – 2013 is 332/360. It is simply 92.2% as against 96% in the last year. This is because the most unanswered questions in JEE (Advanced) question paper Mathematics.
The following statistics show the trend in IIT positive. In this year the highest aggregate score is 332 out of 360, that is, 92.2%. it was 96% in JEE 2012, 91.7% in 2011, 85.5% in 2010, 88.3% in 2009. 88.5% in 2008.
A report regarding IIT – Jee (advanced) 2013 says, that now the quantitative skills is an important component in the testing process and so, it is proposed to change priority of order of question as Mathematics, Physics followed by Chemistry. They convenor of JEE – 2013 stated that it is proposed to give preference to Mathematics. According to the score, and only 23 students managed over 300 while 326 scored over 250.
