'Wheel of fortune’ is not applicable only to Life Cycle also for Education.  It is noted the number of unclaimed engineering seats is on the rise.

Some Engineering colleges are trying to convert to Arts and Science Colleges.

The number of vacant seats in Engineering College in Tamil Nadu has been increasing over years. In 2009-10, 52371 seats, both management and government quota were unclaimed. In 2011-12 this number was 64,880 and in this year ( 2012-13) it is 79,673
