Map for numbers in our brain

It is interests to note that for the first time scie3ntists have found that the human brain has a map for perceiving numbers.  It is clear, topographical maps of human brain are there, for the primary senses like sight, hearing and touch.

 But, this is the first time it is found that such a map exist for number sense.

The lay out of the maps allows for the most efficient communicative among neurons doing similar tests.  Studies in monkeys have revealed that certain neurons in the parietal cortex, located at the back of the brain beneath the crown of the hair, become active when the animals viewed a number of items.
