Condensed course by Foreign universities

The following of Rupee effect has got its own reactions in Foreign Education also. This has pushed universities in New Zealand , Australia, US and UK to find alternate ways to attract Indian students.

This is the time that Indian students are reconsidering their foreign. Plans, universities in some countries. They have started introducing new scholarships and flexible academic options to attract students from India.

It is decided, by many institutes in New Zealand to provide the procedure of option of condensed programs in New Zealand in master level. According to the director Ziena Jalil, Regional director, South Asia for Education New Zealand that the same syllabus will be covered in shorter time. Many Australian Institution also permit this options. Students are also permitted to apply for credit subject exemption. In Australia, the students are allowed to forego their holidays to complete the course in one stretch. The advantage is saving of time and money. In the US Concordia University, New York, which has portioned with Wamers Christian College in Chennai for an American Transfer Program, allows students to get an American degree in 3 ½ years instead of 4 years and a PG degree in 4 ½ years instead of 6 years.

In the UK so far there are no this kind of condensed courses since most of the Masters program are much shorter duration their else ware. India representation of Anglia Rustein university in UK said that if the same situation continues, they may offer scholarship to encourage Indian students.

Some Universities already started anniversary new scholarships in New Zealand and they started their vigorous marketing in the education fairs in Indian cities. The sources said that universities will offer all international Ph.D students the same fee for domestic New Zealand students.

Germany started a new study scholarship for architecture students looking to complete the course of extension studies with out gaining a formal degree or qualification and those who want to complete master degrees in the country.
