Kochi: Union minister of state for Agriculture, Prof K V Thomas, today inaugurated the 'Indian Parliament Simulation' session organised by Young Indians of Confederation of India Industry at the School of Communication and Management Studies here.
Over 300 students from all over India in the age group of 16 to 25 years participated in the initiative, a CII press release said.
The Indian Parliament simulation will expose students to intricacies of parliamentary procedure, make them passionate about governance, its responsibilities and the effect it has on the common man, it said.
The Parliament simulation comprises three sessions which include all essential parliamentary proceedings like passing of bills, question hours, calling attention motions, debates across major ministries and heated debates
