An account of Madras Veterinary College

 The statistics says that 1800 students are graduated every year from veterinary Medical courses in the country.  Out of this 280 are from Madras and this make Madras Veterinary college proud because this is the maximum number.

Dr. R. Prabakaran, the Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University said that once in every 6 months, foreign Universities exchange students with a memorandum of understanding.

Madras Veterinary Colleges attains global standard. The stem cell Research in the University is upcoming.  The new lab and the production of three indigenous vacancies in under progress.

The colleges affiliated with the University provide lot of exposures to the students to maximum clinical trials.

The chief Minister free live stock scheme has added factor to the animal husbandry.
