Japanese language in Chennai

The students of Hayakawa Japanese Language school has varied interests like translation of Japanese lyrics, understanding Japanese Cartoons besides many. Kayoko Furokawa, Consul, Consulate General of Japan expressed happiness, that number of people take up the Japanese language simply not out of necessity, but out of interest.  Sailakshmi, a former Japanese student said that her love for the language began in her liking to understand Japanese songs.
