Course in Solar Energy

A four week Solar Installation training program will be conducted from July 29 to August 29.  This program will be conducted by Sun Edison India and the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) Chennai under the Department of MSME.

 

The programme was inaugurated by Minister of Rural Development Industries P. Mohan. The course will be conducted at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute campus in the city. This program aims to prepare the students for self employment opportunities and give them the tools to strait small scale Solar enterprises.  The course includes solar module installation with technical training provided by Sun Edison and is meant for all the candidates with a diploma or Engineering degree.  The cost fixed is Rs.15000/- which include the cost for all the materials.
