Combined Admission Test (CAT)

Combined Admission Test (CAT) meant for the admissions of Indian Institute of Managements (IIM) and premium is schools will be held in 40 cities. This include Surat, Udaipur, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada. The number of seats is also increased by 115 for all 13 IIMs to 3335. The joint statement issued by IIMs and parametric says that the dates of registrations begin from August 5 till September 26. The 20 – day test counters will commence from October 16 till November 11. The results will be announced on Jan 14. Indore Indian Institute of Management will be the co-ordinating Institution this year.

In this year the registration and payment is both online. So, there is no physical submission procedure that complex system is avoided. The candidates can get voucher directly through the CAT 2013.
