 Vacancies in Engineering College

Engineering Counselling in Tamil Nadu under Anna University almost comes to an end.  But, still 40% of seats are vacant.  Out of 2.05 lac seats in Government quota, 1.22 lacs were filled.  Last year 58,000 seats remained unfilled.

This year Mechanical and Civil engineering there was a rush. So called, popular branch remain unfilled.

More than 70% of Mechanical and Civil Engineering seats were filled less than 60% of the seats in Electronics and Communication were filled.

More than 84% of Bio-Technology seats were filled.

AICTE, infact denied approval to increase seats in Bio-Technology and now the centre is keen on forming Bio – Tech labs and facilities.
