Jamia Millia Islamia introduces a one-year certificate course in Chinese language

Starting this year, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has introduced a one-year certificate course in Chinese language, which is being offered by the Academy of International Studies at Jamia. The classes for this course will commence from July 29.

To mark the launch of the programme in Jamia, a brief ceremony will be held at the campus on July 30 from 11am onwards. The programme will begin with introductory remarks by ambassador Rangachari who is the director of the Academy of International Studies at JMI.

Professor SM Sajid, officiating vice-chancellor , Jamia Millia Islamia , will address the audience on the occasion. Professor Wang wei-chung , New Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, will also be present. The Taiwan ambassador to India, Chung-Kwang , Tien and his colleagues from the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Centre , and ministry of external affairs , are expected to participate in the event.
