No need for NEET
The Supreme Court on Thrusday passed order declaring the common entrance Test Medical Admissions across the country held by Medical Course of India as invalid. The Judgement as invalid. The judgement says that the MCI is not empowered to conduct the National Eligibility-cum-entrance Test and the apex court has given the go-ahead to provide and government Medical Colleges to hold their Entrance Examinations.
The court also states that Common Entrance Test for Medical colleges violates the rights of state and provide institutions. It is likely to have a fallout as such tests are conducted for other professional courses like Engineering and Management.
