Madras High Court, gave judgement for a petition, that a college teacher’s prescribes qualifications during the relevant time cannot be ignored if additional qualification are required.  When recruitment norms occurs.

According to the court, if the teacher had acquired the original regulated qualifications in terms of UGC norms and regulations, that must be the yard stick for teaching experience.
