Online fee payment facility will become operational in Panjab University from Monday.
"The facility has been made available to students due to pay their tuition fee for the third semester onwards for this academic session 2013-14. The fee till now was paid either by way of demand draft or in cash at the university fee counters. As roll number is mandatory, a fresher would be able to avail this facility from second semester onwards," said an official spokesperson of PU.
The facility has been made available for students of 57 departments/courses of PU campus. All leading Institutes such as University Institute of Engineering and Technology, University Business School, Dental College, University Institute of Applied and Management Studies and University Institute of Legal Studies have been covered in the first phase. It has been made possible with the joint efforts of PU administration and PU branch of the State Bank of India (SBI).
