International experience key attribute companies are looking for in prospective employees

A new survey published recently found 81% of the CEOs and HR Directors in nine top Indian cities believe their company would benefit from recruiting Indian graduates who’ve studied at a London university due to the global perspective they’ve gained from living in the capital.

In a survey of over 3,000 Indian employers, international experience was found to be a key attribute that companies are looking for in prospective employees, making Indian graduates from London attractive hires.

Commissioned by the London Universities International Partnership (LUIP), the survey also highlights the fast track career prospects open to Indian graduates with a London education. Over three quarters of the surveyed companies confirmed that London graduates could expect to earn higher salaries and progress faster than their counterparts without an international education.

The research for LUIP was carried out by Delhi based education specialist IndoGenius.
