Maharashtra cabinet approves proposal for streamlining the process of sanctioning of new colleges

The Maharashtra cabinet decided to complete the process of sanctioning of new colleges for the academic year 2013-14 by July 15.
   
The cabinet approved a proposal to make necessary amendments to the University Act for streamlining the process of sanctioning of new colleges.
   
An ordinance would be promulgated in this regard.
