What is forgetting? Why do we forget? Is there any Medicine to avoid forgetting?

There is a disease called Alzhemer's, meaning even remembering the basic details like, who we are, where our home is, identifying kith and kin, besides similar factors.

Few scientists discovered a pill to help the people to remember.

An enzyme (bio - catalyst) to activate on enzyme to build memory capacity is identifed by Shanti Swarup Bhat nagar Awarded prof Tapas Kundu and Prof m. Eswara moorthy along with their research group, at Jawaharlal Nehru Centrre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore.

Kundu constructs a molecule, 10 years ago, to activate chemicals in the brain. to make memory alright. Now a method is identified to deliver Kundu's molecule to the brain by tagging it to a nano particle, one thousands the width of human hair of glucose based carbon.

This molecule will support neurogenesis, that is, for the growth of new brain cells. This method may be applicable to cure neuro degenerate diseases also. This molecules with the nano particle may cross the blood brain barrier. This was tested with the brain of mice.

The Researcher Kundu is worried about using the glucose based particle to send the activator molecules to the brain, as it can be broken down in the body easily.
